Based on the poem by Myra Brooks Welch. A carefully crafted violin passes through a succession of careless owners until it ends up at an auction, where no one is interested in it until an old violin master steps up, repairs its strings, and begins to play. At once the crowd senses the intrument's worth, and bidding for it starts in earnest, since the violin has become good as new because of the master's touch. Suggests that lives can be renewed in much the same way.
