| Summary, etc. | Many Christians suffer today with 'guidance'. There is a bewildering array of theories about how we should discern God's will and follow it in our daily lives, and for many the end result is confusion, uncertainty, anxiety or guilt. The current interest in 'words of knowledge' has only added heat to the issue. The message of this book is that there is a way through the confusion, and it is found in passages like Hebrews 1:1,2. 'In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son.' God chose to speak in many and varied ways in the past, but in Christ he has uttered a comprehensive and final word for mankind. Jesus Christ is God's 'Last Word on Guidance'. In listening to the voice of the Good Shepherd and following him, we receive sure and marvellous guidance. What more do we need?--Back cover. |
