Thousands of languages:- Gospel Recordings / Language Recordings have more languages than anyone else on earth. Familiar voices, speaking words they can understand, have enabled nearly 4,500 ethic groups to be reached with the Gospel of Christ. Recording the Gospel was the brainchild of Joy Ridderhof. Braving ill health, assassination attempts, obstructive officials, heavy recording equipment and the rigours of foreign travel by car, boat and small plane, she collected recordings of languages from all over the world. She made recordings in towns and cities, mountains and deserts, forests and jungles, tropical islands and icebound provinces. The Mission now has Centres on every continent.--Back cover.
