Harry Winslow's friend, Captain Dawson, is shot down by a German fighter plane over the English Channel, and Harry learns about the value of personal sacrifice as he does everything he can to save the captain.
This fourth book in the series was really good. The book has both humor and suspense. There was one word I didn't think was necessary. When I was reading it to the children I just changed the word, but if you were having your child read it, you might want to change the word physically in the book. Otherwise, a nice story line for sure. Really enjoying this series of books. I am reading it to my children aged 1-15. We are all enjoying it. The 7 and 10 year olds are on the edge of their seats, as I read it out loud to all.
