A great book to read with Kids and have be involved in conversations that they will be able to understand and apply practically to their lives.

I've looked for a solid kids devotion book for a couple years now. A lot of them are cheesy, patronizing to children, hit you over the head with morals, or just poorly written. I wanted something that included actual scripture, but made it accessible and relevant to a pre-schooler. This is it! There are fun extension activities with every lesson, memory verses and simple, yet profound questions. Brilliant.

A great devotion book, as well as guide, for parents who teach their children about God and His redemptive plan.

We enjoyed this! Simple, but deep. My 4 year old and 3 year old could both understand and engage with what we discussed. I like how the book is structured and works systematically through different topics. Also nice that there are suggestions for additional activities. The illustrations could be more imaginative, but that's only a relatively minor thing.

This is a wonderful devotional guide for children and, I dare say, for adults, too. The verses, the questions, the activities are so inviting, encouraging and edifying. If you are looking for a family devotional or a study book for children classes, I highly and joyously recommend.

This is a good resource; not perfect but a good start for devotions with children. We've used it each day and our children have benefited from it.
